Our Lord, our God, Abba Father,
We are so joyful and thankful that by the power of salvation, You have chosen Jackie to shepherd Your sheep.
Lord Jesus, we ask that You cleanse the heart and spirit of every brother and sister here, so that like incense our united prayer for Jackie may be set before You. (Psalm 141:2)
Because You have called Jackie by Your very name and today appointed her to be Your shepherd over Your flock, we ask that You anoint her with Your Spirit, and sanctify her by the truth, which is Your Word. (John 17:17)
Please give Jackie Your spiritual authority as You did when You sent out the early disciples so that her words would be filled with the wisdom from the Holy Spirit and her actions would exude the grace and mercy of Christ. (Luke 10:1-19)
In every spiritual battle, we ask the Holy Spirit to equip Jackie so that her life may bear all kinds of spiritual fruits which have the power to attract people to Jesus Christ. (Galatians 5:22-23)
As Jackie experiences the dark nights of the soul, please help her fix her eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of her faith; so that just like Jesus, she may be able to endure the cross and scorn the shame for the joy set before her. (Hebrews 12:2)
In all her interactions with co-workers, we ask the Holy Spirit to help Jackie live a life worthy of the calling which she has received; that she may be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love; and that she would make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. (Ephesians 4:1-4)
As Jackie leads Your chosen people, we pray that You would give her power, love, and self-discipline. May her confidence be rooted in Your Word, ‘that she speaks as one approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. That she will not try to please people but God, who tests her heart.’ (2 Timothy 1:7; 1 Thessalonians 2:4)
Whenever Jackie is weak, we ask of You, Jesus, to help her see and taste Your grace is sufficient. May Your power be made perfect in her weakness. (2 Corinthians 12:9)
Abba Father, please provide Jackie every day according to her daily needs. We pray that the Holy Spirit will sustain and protect Jackie in her livelihood, growth, travel, safety, family, health, and everything else. We also ask that You strengthen her daily – may the joy of the Lord be her strength. (Nehemiah 8:10)
Heavenly Father, we know that You are faithful. We also trust that for Your own name’s sake, You will accomplish all Your good will for Jackie and through her, achieve Your beautiful purposes for everyone whom You have put in her charge. We have confidence that He who began the good work in Jackie will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus, because all glory, honor, and power belong to our Father God. (Philippians 1:6)
May our prayer be pleasing to our Father God.
