Nature

Brooke Pan (3rd Grade)

A lion,
Like a willow,
Hair flowing in the wind.

A tiger,
As firm and strong,
as a ceder.

Pumas,
and black woods,
Both goth and stealth.

A cheetah,
Like a gum tree,
Covered with spots.

A white tiger,
Like a birch,
Skin of creamy white.

Forces of nature,
In perfect harmony,
All living by,
The sun’s warm light.

Tree of Life

Jacob Pan (6th Grade)

A tree
When you sow
You do not plant the body
that will be
But only a seed
It grows
A sapling
Waving in the wind

Time passes

It matures
A towering oak
A beacon

Pure light

In a flash
In the twinkling of an eye
An infection
Spreading to the roots

Death
A mound of decomposition
Food for maggots
Death bears new life

獅子，
像垂柳，
絨毛在風中飄蕩

老虎，
堅而又挺，
如雪松

美洲獅群，
宛若黑色林木，
一樣的漆黑悲憤

獵豹，
狀似膠樹幹，
斑紋遍身

白老虎，
影如樺木,
乳白毛皮

自然的力量，完美的和諧,
一切生存於
太陽溫暖的光照中

二、生命樹

種下的
不是將要長成的，而是
一粒種子
生長中
幼苗在
風中搖曳
