There will always be a reason for everything
And God guided you to make beautiful things
The work of your hands is really a blessing
For us to dare to do great things

It’s never an accident why you are here
Your presence means you really care
God never fails to fulfill his promises
For us to enjoy the memories you’ve shared

22 hours travel is really not easy
Unless God commanded you to do that way
There’s always a reason for everything
Your presence added light to our little wings

Thank you fellows for giving us hope
Thank you for sharing the blessings with awe
We will never forget the lessons you’ve shared
For in your hearts the seed is planted firm

神，您是萬物生命之光
神，您使世界美好無雙

編者按： Joy Limen 為菲律賓盼望之光（Visions of Hope）基督教基金會屬下一所學校的教師。2018年暑期，李新宇弟兄隨同其他五位CBCGB弟兄姊妹，組成短宣社關團隊參與盼望之光的服事，從波士頓乘機，風塵僕僕22個小時後抵達呂宋，服事當地學校與教會。Joy 姐妹有感於遠程而來的華人教會肢體為當地孩子帶來神的愛與關懷，以此詩為感恩之祭獻給神，並委託新宇弟兄帶回波士頓與我們共享。此詩與新宇的短宣感言詩《呂宋》（見封底）相呼應。感謝傳全弟兄的翻譯與再創作，以中文還原Joy 姐妹英文詩中的綿綿感恩之念。
